AurelkaORTO is a specialised line of orthopaedic footwear created at the request of orthopaedists and physiotherapists working in the field of children's health and development. All Aurelka footwear provided by Well & Able comes standard with the option for a flat innersole or built-in arch support to provide optimal alignment and stability of the foot and ankle for children with additional physical development needs. All Aurelka footwear models are specially designed taking into account market fashion trends allowing children to be proud of wearing our supportive footwear.

The 1028 ORTO is a supportive closed toe shoe fitting above the level of the ankle bones to support the foot and ankle of younger children, teenagers and adults. Its features include:

Velcro bindings
closed toes cap to protect the toes
Light-weight Vibram sole
Sole flexibility at the level of the toe joints
Natural leather uppers - to promote breathability and comfort
Soft, natural leather linings
No seams inside the shoe to promote comfort against the skin
Cushioned cuff for stable and comfortable fixation above the ankle
