The SDO® suit is a completely custom made-to-measure garment designed by the clinician to achieve a specific desired result for the patient by selecting the appropriate style and combination of reinforcement panels. The SDO® Suit is a full contact garment that is used to increase cutaneous and proprioceptive feedback whilst providing musculo-skeletal support and alignment.
The SDO® suit is customised to meet the musculoskeletal needs of the patient by using reinforcement panels prescribed by the clinician. There are a selection of panels that can be used in isolation or in combination with other panels to achieve a specific gaol in postural control and body alignment.
SDO Suit styles available include:
- Body suit, short legs, no sleeves
- Body suit, long legs, no sleeves
- Body suit with sleeves and legs
- Leotard or Vest – no sleeves

DZ SUIT DOUBLE ZIP
Suit with double open front zip (neck to front of leg - each zip going in same direction) with closed back zip. This design allows for much easier donning/ doffing as well as enhancing handling of child or adult around the crotch area.
DZ SUIT DOUBLE ZIP SOFT PANEL
Suit with double open front zip (neck to front of leg) with a soft fabric inserted in the front panel between zips and the closed back zip. This design allows for much easier donning and doffing as well as enhancing handling of the child or adult around the crotch area. This design may assist with severe reflux and for patients who are naturally "pot-bellied". It may also be a design that could be beneficial where discomfort is experienced after eating.
DZ SUIT DOUBLE EXPANDING ZIP
Suit with double open front zip (neck to front of leg in opposite direction to reduce bulkiness) with expansion sections on each zip and closed back zip. This design allows for much easier donning/ doffing as well as enhancing handling of a child or adult around the crotch area. This design will be used where more than normal circumferential growth is anticipated. (This design may not accommodate hip flexion as the garment is being worn next to the skin).
