Medica Toledo School
Medica Toledo School are increased stability and extra support enclosed sandals designed to fit at the level of the ankle bones to provide extra support and stability for the foot and ankle. They are designed with a firm, extended heel stiffener and cushioned cuff to stabilize the heel bone.
The Toledo enclosed sandals provide:
- a firm, extended heel stiffener to stabilize the heel bone and foot
- lightweight, hard-wearing sole
- Thomas Heel to provide extra stability and prevent inversion of the foot
- a high, firm toe box to protect the toes
- T-bar style design with one Velcro strap and one buckle fastening
- internal leather lining for natural comfort and breathability
- full grain leather uppers
- removable insole

Features
These increased stability and extra support boots may be suitable for children requiring additional support, such as children:
- beginning to stand and walk with excessive tilting of the heel bone
- with low muscle tone including those with developmental delays eg Down Syndrome
- mild joint laxity, hyper-mobility, connective tissue disorders of the lower limb eg Elhers Danlos Syndrome
- mild forms of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, cerebellar ataxia
- significant pronation or supination of the feet
