The Medica Brisbane+ is an advanced orthopaedic sandal designed to provide firm lower-leg, ankle, and foot stability for children requiring additional control and alignment support. Part of the AFO Alternative collection, it offers more structure than ankle-height orthopaedic footwear while maintaining greater comfort and flexibility than a full ankle-foot orthosis (AFO).

Building on the proven Medica Brisbane design, the Brisbane+ includes an additional anterior ankle strap positioned over the front of the ankle joint. This feature helps secure the heel in place, assisting with heel contact and stability in children who experience higher muscle tone, toe-walking tendencies, or difficulty maintaining heel position.

Crafted from high-quality real leather with a soft leather lining, this sandal combines clinical-grade support with durable comfort. Its extended height stiffener provides strong control of the ankle and lower calf, while the Thomas Heel enhances rearfoot alignment. Four Velcro straps and an adjustable anterior ankle strap ensure a precise fit and easy adjustability for therapy or everyday wear.
